Emily Rose | Embodied Awareness

Welcome, I’m Emily

I’m a counsellor, mindfulness teacher, and writer exploring how we can stay connected in a world that often feels messy and overwhelming. My work weaves together trauma-informed counselling, embodied mindfulness, and creative practice to support presence, compassion, and resilience.

Here you’ll find offerings for yoga, one-to-one support, retreats, and reflections through my writing. Whether you’re seeking calm, connection, or simply a reminder that you belong, exactly as you are - you’re in the right place.

We can’t avoid the challenges, but we can meet them together…with kindness, curiosity, and a little laughter along the way!

3 Pillars of Awareness & Connection for Balanced Living

Connection to Self:

Self-care and mindfulness practices are pathways to connecting with ourselves on a deeper level. Through practices such as meditation, breathwork, and self-reflection, we can nurture our wellbeing, find inner peace, and unlock our full potential.

Connection to Others:

Building meaningful connections with others is crucial for our overall wellbeing and the wellbeing of society. My work recognises the power of Non-Violent Communication, Social Justice, and Community. I encourage open dialogue, empathy, and social engagement, fostering connections that support personal growth and positive change.

Connection to Nature:

I strongly believe in honouring our connection to the Earth through nature-based practices and sustainability. By engaging with nature, grounding, observing its cycles, and practicing environmental stewardship, we deepen our understanding of interconnectedness and promote a harmonious relationship with the world around us.

I respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I live and work, the Taungurung and Dhudhuroa people. I pay my respects to their elders past, present, and emerging, and honour their ancient wisdom and custodianship of this beautiful land. I recognise that sovereignty of this land was never ceded.
